After one year since my prostate surgery I noted a medium size of the bulge around my groin.

 

I suspect that this maybe a hernia because of the reduced mussel strength after prostate surgery.

 

Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

Getting a Hernia is a "medium" common issue after surgery. There are several threads here on the subject...

Most hernias are where the incidsions were. Hernias aren't uncommon in older men. Certainly nothing to worry about, but certainly get to doctor quickly. Strangulated hernias are not good.

Hernias at the surgical sites (whether open or robotic) are fairly common.  Typically, they are classified as incisional hernias.  The bulge should be reducible (can be pushed back into place with some finger pressure).  If it's not reducible, it may be a problem and could cause "incarceration" of your bowel.  You should have it looked at.  I suffer currently from an umbilical hernia in my belly button which is the main laproscopic site during the robotic surgery.  It looks very strange and ugly and even 8 months later, has a very small amount of noninfectous fluid leaking on ocassion.  I'm going to a surgeon about this too.
