Very sad Don that these therapies are not working well for you and many patients. I presume you have looked into most things, since you knew about
XL-184 a anti-angiogenesis type drug, Swedens version looks like Tasquinimod, and comparitively in like trial phases. Others in that category: Avastin or bevacizumab
Well all I could mention are ideas to look into:
Abiraterone or Leukine, you can get right now through Dr. Scholz 310-827-770
ARN-509 in trials now, MDV3100 in trials and less potent than ARN-509
DES, emcyt, estradiol patches (might not work at all at this stage)?
Thalidomide (Revlimid), Provenge, Lapatinib
NOVEL Chemicals (mentioned by pathologist Dr. Rubin*:
*Rapamycin-mTOR inhibitor (get with an Rx)
*Celastrol
*Gedunin (from India Tree)
*(clinical trials vaccines or immune stimulants): GM-CSF & anti-CLA4* (?????)
others targeted ideas, listed by Dr. Rubin: PSMA(J591), HDAC, valproate, PXD-101 & MGC0103* (???)
(???=in his 2008 Pathology article in Modern Pathology..I have no knowledge on the ??? mentioned items, just throwing out to look into...you could look into such, perhaps).
Perhaps post you journey at: www.yananow.net (many mentors/experiences listed)
Glad to see Casper mention looking outside the U.S.A., that is a choice that is seldom mentioned and why not look at anything and everything.
