I am mightily pleased to announce that my wife and I became grandparents for the very first time today. And on my wife's birthday as well ---- how good is that. A bonny wee 7lb. lass is the newest addition to our clan and both mother and daughter are doing well. My son and daughter in law are beside themselves with joy.

Congratulations on becoming a grandpa! As a member of the grandpa club you have a big advantage now -- you can always hand the little devil darling back to her parents. yeah

Congrats Billy there is notyhing better than grandkids.   And what a tremendous birthday present for your wife. 

I have three sons and over the last several weeks they have all announced that their wives are pregnant.   The trifecta....each son with a baby in the same year.   Births will be in August (a boy), October (a boy) and November (don't know gender yet).

That's great, Billy! Give our best wishes to the parents and take some for yourself. I've got 5 now as my youngest daughter had her first little boy 2 months ago. They are all so much fun to be around... so innocent, and yet so loving. I'd start her with a sand wedge.
