Good day folks.
I had Davinci Robotic a little over a year ago. As part oif recovery I started walking a mile or so a day... and now do 3 brisk miles a day, at least (there was a study came out after I started this - saying a brisk 3 mi walk at least 3 times a week is shown to reduce recurrance).. but anyway..
So i've lost about 15 lbs, now at 185 or so. But I also started lifting some weights.. nothing major, but generally trying to improve myself.
The other day, as I was curling some weights, I feel this sharp pain just above the groin area on one side. Put the weight down, it went away.
Next day I tried less weights, still some pain... nothing major, but a distinct localized pain. Nothing protruding from the abdomen.
Today I can feel that slight pain, exact same location. I'm thinking hernia from the start.
In reading about hernia it made me wonder if the surgical work done for my pca could have weakened my abdominal muscles, making them more suseptible to a hernia.
Anyone else have or heard of this being a potential issue?
Good thoughts to all!
