Well I saw the onco yesterday. It seems d.e.s.is officially not doing the trick. MAJOR BUMMER!!!!!!!!! So today I had the first lupron injection I have had in 11 months and only my second injection in almost 2 years. The doc gave me a play by play if it doesnt work and told me I should start referring to my life expectancy in terms of months and not years. LOLOL. No worries. They told me that I only was going to live for 12 months at the time of my DX and that was 61 months ago and counting. Todd

todd, good luck on the lupron, you have been beating the grim reaper for sometime now, and i expect you will find new ways to continue. hope this buys you some well deserved time, but sorry you are back on the HT again.

Again be positive and welcome back the good side of Lupron:

1> You will have better recognition of shoe sales in the mall...
2> You can take over the home decorating responsibilities for Amanda again..
3> You no longer have to try to be reasonable...
4> You might better understand your wife's feelings...<the keyword is "might">
5> You get free personal summers...

Of course you have to take the bad with the good:

1> You will have to spend money to save money...
2> You might be the only one who knows what you are talking about...
3> You have to put up with me trying to make you smile...

Tony and David thank you. David no worries. Lupron is not bad. I kinda like it. I love chick flix even more than my wife does after an injection. It is really not a bad thing. Can be a little strange at first but definitely nothing to fear or dread. Todd

Todd, I'm sorry to read this news. You put it so well: MAJOR BUMMER ! ! ! !

My wife doesn't like chick flicks. She likes those shows where the wife kills the husband, chops him into little peaces, and buries him in the back yard. Should I be worried? :-0

It is never the jeans....but I do think the belt buckle might be a little thick!
