Hi All.

I posted here weeks ago. I was one of the few or maybe the only active poster who had cyberknife. (4 day course of intensely targeted high dose radiation that is supposed to mimic high Dose Brachytherapy). It was concluded 7/8/11, with some minor side effects, normal for this treatment: urinary urgency, minor burning, etc. So far everything works! I will let you know how i get on a month post op, and 2 months later my first PSA will tell if we made some progress.

Congratulations on your results to date.

I am not sure if you ever posted your stats but that information would be very helpful to others.

I am reading your Psa timeline, you had a high reading before surgery (so did I, 21) then it went down to nothing, you took radiation and now it is rising, and fast. What do you think is going on? What is your diagnosis presently? What course are you thinking of pursuing (or are already), Sorry to be so direct..if you don't want to answer on this forum i will provide an email address.

My stats should follow as signature, i don't know why they do not

Age 54. PSA upticking for 5 or so years, settling on 10 3/2010. 9 months later its 28. Antibiotics bring it down to 18, and it upticks to 30 3/2011, and down to 21 after 2 weeks of antibiotics. Biopsy 5/2011. Dx 5/12/2011 1 core pos., 2 mm, T1c, G 3+3. Abdomen, bones clean. MRI shows two tumors, small, total organ confinement. Cyberknife radiotherapy performed and concluded successfully 7/8/11
