Self Injected TRIMIX first Time with mixed results for ED

 I self injected for the first time last night the .4ml (40 units) dose of Trimix and got maybe 70% erect. It was surprising how easy and painless the injection was for my first time not even a bee sting pain. I was somewhat disappointed in the result as was my wife but as my doc said it may take awhile until we find my correct dose. From others experiences here with TRIMIX, their correct dosages are all over the place from less than .1ml to .7ml. I will wait the 3 days and try .5ml next per the docs instructions. I also did not experience much burning or discomfort from the TRIMIX a lot less than the side effects of Cialis and Viagra. If I do find the right dose and it works 95-100% my wife and I will be very pleased in the future. To any of you who are thinking about injections but do not like the thought of needles it was so easy and painless and IMO if it can produce the desired end results and a better quality of life it is darn well worth it. wink

that sounds like pretty good results for a first time injection. as you said, slowlly increase those doses (so you don't end up in the Er) and hopefully you will find the correct amount for you. good luck.

Yes I would try .45 rather than .5 for your next dose and I inject any where from 24 to 76 hours apart just no more than once per 24 hour period and or no more than 3 times per week. but I guess each Dr. may have different suggestions.

I also started with .25 and went up to .5 until I had wood I was happy with. then after about 2 months started to go down and am no at .3 if its just me and for sex .33 So, you may be able to back off the dosage after a while...

Natural, thanks for the input  about your experiences.

My URO told me to self inject a min of 2 times per week and no more than 3 times and to not inject on consecutive days. I was only going to wait until next Wednesday because my wife will be out of town on business Monday and Tuesday so just in case the next injection works I did not want to waste a good erection if she is not here.  I will try your suggestion and go to .45ml next time. One thing that is apparent from reading in this forum TRIMIX, results and dosages are different for everyone no one dose is close to fitting all.

I can see notable difference from the .3 and the .33 dosage for me, .3 last about 45 minutes at about 90% give or take good enough for good blood flow and all, but if I want to be with wife...33 gives me 100% for about 55 minutes. when I see that the times for good erection gets longer then time to slightly decrease dosage I have fine tuned dosage up ( where you are now) to get good initial response by .05 at a time. now i fine tune down by .02 at a time with very noticeable changes in that small of a dosage change. So just take your time and be careful with dosages, and remember there can always be the failed attempt, where nothing happens....

Also the "firmness" prior to injection makes a big difference in pain level and effect. So the technique talked so much about in here as the plump and prick...works very well in decreasing the amount needed, as well as the use of a cheap constriction band after injecting. I asked my Uro about all this and he poo poo'ed it off, but it does make a difference!

Since I am new to this what exactly is the "plump" part? I know the prick part and thought those mentioning the plump were talking about VED's My URO did bring up the constricting band and since here in my area we do not have any adult toy stores he suggested a hardware store rubber "O" ring works good.

just make sure the rubber O ring is not too tight! the plump is a VED to get a "chubby" or some blood in the tissue down there. If you do not have one I have recently experimented with just using the "jelqing" technique look it up on line if unfamiliar. it manually moves more blood into the tissue there.. and that worked good also. But I found that too much blood down there or if it is a little too stiff to start out with when u inject the pain level goes up...never really hurts, just a little more uncomfortable if too much blood in there...
