Last tuesday surgery, this tuesday cath. out.This monday I'm going back to work (light duty),estimating jobs and office work only for the next week or two then back to the physical part.My daughter asked "your happy about going back to work"? YES!

Congratulations cman.

It's good to be on the other side of surgery.

I hope the side effects you experience are minimal.

Wow, that sounds like a fast track back to work! Good for you. I can understand how the everyday routine is much nicer than anticipation; the surgery, etc. etc.

Hey Metalman

So glad to hear you are doing so well and going back to work, but do not over do it at first. 

Be prepared to come to GFMFH next year. This has been so far a fantastic experience and has brought a whole new perspective to having PC. I have made so many great new friends from all over the country that I would never have met without PC.

Wow Cmetalman, that is quick. I am returning to work on this Monday after 6 weeks off. My desk is a ladder and my briefcase is a toolbag. I will miss my daytime TV, not. Best to you.

Thanks, I am going to take this slow. As part owner of my company I share the responsibilty of doing sales,estimating. Both of us also in between sales do the actual jobs with our workers.One day at a time.

Great post. Happy to know you are recovering so fast. If you had the robotic surgery, keep in mind you may feel like you are berthed than you actually are. My doc told me to remember I had major surgery. I will echo what the others said (don't overdo it). I was 48 and started driving after 2 weeks and gradually went back to work half days. I walked s lot.

Hi cmetalman!  Just checking to see how you are doing.  My goodness, you have had a quick recovery period! Just follow everyone's advice and take it easy.  I know you have demands when you are part owner.  Some are still taking naps at this stage.  Do what you have to do, but do take care of yourself!  Also, check with your doctor as to when you may begin the Kegel exercises.  Wishing the best!

Aimzee thanks,I am going back to work tomorrow(monday), but I am doing it at my pace.I scheduled myself to look at a few jobs by noon then plan on resting at home and doing the paper work at my leisure(?). Hope to join your husband at the zero club in a few months. Plus how much reruns of "Law and Order" can you really take?
