davidg -- on my last visit my doctor said: "i think we got this thing beat!" and then he said he was moving me to six-month testing. it kinda freaked me out to see him so positive because he doesn't say things casually nor will he say something just to make me feel better. and on that day i was expecting my PSA to either be the same or elevated (it had moved back down).
i told him i didn't think i was ready for six-month testing and he said he'll see me whenever i want. he's seen me freak out so i really appreciate him giving me the final say. i'm not sure what i'll do. after vacation i'll make an appointment with him.
like you, i feel great physically but mentally and emotionally i have changed. that's neither bad nor good it's just the way it is, and it's not the first time for me either.

I don't see how anyone can deny not changing mentally. We wouldn't be here after all if we hadn't. People come here for many different reasons, but all of them a result of some need. That is a sign of change in itself. And yes, neither bad nor good, just the way it is now.
I'll consider it beat when I'm 65.
