New PSA - No slowing down of PSADT

Oh well, I was hoping for maybe a christmas present, maybe next year. Latest results show no slowing in PSADT. I am now at PSA of 1.36. PSADT at 2.7 (roughly) months. That puts me in HT just in time for summer. confused

Keeping Faith,
Stay positive and ask for intermittent ADT as results can be as good as continuous and without permanent side effects. You are young and have many years ahead to enjoy your family and the rest of your life.

Keeping -- you and I are on an almost identical course.

Are you waiting until summer to START ADT??

I may be starting in a week. One more PSA on Thursday or Friday.

Mel - it will be intermittent adt for me. 2 rounds of 7 months on and then off. They want to Start at a psa of around 5, which brings me in at around may. Are they suggesting you start earlier. At 1.38 and Gleason 7 you and I are identical (you also seem to have a PSADT of a little more than 3 months). I'd be interested if your docs are suggesting you start now

sorry to hear this news, for now, put it on the upper shelf, and let yourself enjoy a good holiday season. you will have plenty of time to make that tough decision in the new year. my best to you.

Sorry about the news.  For right now put it out of your mind and enjoy the Holidays.  However, after they are over, please repost your reasons for waiting until Summer for HT.  For now, that discussion can wait a few days.
