I'm glad you found this site, but I would caution you about
putting more value on what you read here and elsewhere on the internet than on what your uro has to say. That sounds like a really bad idea.
None of us here has a medical degree. None of us has done a DRE or a biopsy. We haven't had the opportunity to study your complete medical evaluation. We don't know anything about your medical history, your family history, or any of your other signifcant medical information. We don't even have the benefit of eyeballing you, which can often tell a smart physicial a lot about a patient's condition.
We learn a lot from one another on this site, but we're not doctors. We're not even "bad" doctors, though some here have learned a lot about prostate cancer.
Don't rush into any treatment. Avoid the temptation to only accept information that fits your pre-conceived expectations. Find a uro in whom you have confidence and whom you find to be highly regarded. If the doc is "vague" about something, ask questions until your curiosity is satisfied. If you don't like his bedside manner, find someone with whom you're comfortable. It's your life and your health, and you have a right to first-rate treatment.
