It was the protocol where I went. I had a suprapubic cath in place during all of the SRT. All they had to do was clamp off the cath, have me drink the water, get zapped, then release the clamp. So easy.
When I questioned her about not drinking any water in advance, I was told "Don't worry about it, I got that covered". I told her, "That doesn't sound right to me." She replied, "I got it covered.
This is the whole crux of my malpractice case that is still in play.

Wow! I didn't know that! So very very strange at her response. I'm not sure what a "I got that covered" would even suppose to mean. The only thing I could think of is she thought the IMRT could avoid your empty bladder?
What a nightmare...sorry to read you had to go through that.
