I have not gotten far enough into the process to have made a trip with trimx by air.
There are some considerations for any prescription at security (TSA) -
1) ALWAYS have a copy of prescriptions or at least a summary list from your pharamacy, including the prescription for the syringes. Best if meds are in a bottle with the current Rx info on them. I have, at various times been questioned about pain meds they find during inspections that were in my "daily" pill boxes rather than the original container.
2) I have always packed the Rx stuff in a separate sack. I understand that the "quart-bag" rule does not apply to prescription liquids/gels, but that the 3 oz. container rule does, so I get my doctor to put a smaller bottle/tube size on the prescription.
3) If you use freezer packs, try to get the very small ones, since in theory, the 3 oz rule applies there as well.
4) Get your compounding pharmacy to break your 10ml into smaller vials, so that if one does go bad on a trip, you haven't lost the whole month's supply. My pharamcist suggested 2 x 5ml vials early on, and will do as small as 2ml.
4) Check the TSA site. The rules change constantly.
