Anyone used the drug Imipramine for incontinence?

I am 5 years post op RRP, I have no ED issues, and I am continent 100%.... except during sex.  As soon as I get aroused, I start to feel my splinkter muscle relax and I will start to drip uncontrolably.  Also, during orgasm I ejeculate urine like a fire hose.  I have been told that an anti-depressant drug called Imipramine is sometimes used to control mild incontinence.  My question is, has anyone here used this drug, and if so, does it work and what are the side effects? 

Hi Sooner, sorry to hear about the leaking during sex. I had it pretty bad (the leaking, that is) for the first few months after my RRP. It was an unpleasant surprise the first time it happened - yike!! Then it seemed to go away, so I figured it was due to the general disruption to tissues that occurs after surgery.

I have also been taking imipramine to help with mild incontinence, and have gotten good results. Nothing dramatic, but the daily leakage did go down a bit. No side effects at all, except that my dreams seem to be more vivid. I'd say try it and see what happens. Nothing to lose.
