Anyone use MUSE suppository to get an erection?

I was reading that a drug called alprostadil can be bought in a suppository-form which is sold under the brand name MUSE (Medicated Urethral System for Erection).  I know that there are injections to give you an erection, but I am just curious if the suppository will work to and if anyone has experience using it?  I know the injections have side effects that can cuase damage to the penis, but what about the suppository?

I don't have any ED issues and can get a rock solid erections, but ONLY with constant manual stimulation. Within seconds after the manual stimulation stops, the erection dies.  That can really frustrating during sex.  I am asking this because I would like to find something that would help me maintain my erection without the use of my hands. I have tried viagra, and it works, but I don't like the flush face feeling and seeing blue.

Have you tired the other pills, Cialis or Lavitra? I have tried MUSE it is expensive if your insurance does it. I think it was $200 for 6. Some guys have had great success with it but many find that it is painful. I was one of those that found it very painful and it did not produce the erection. It was not the alprostadil because I have moved on to injections and use the alprostadil with no problems.

Just my 2 cents worth. I also recomend that check out another web site Franktalk.org That site deals specificly with ED issues.

I tried the 6 pack of Muse...the first 5 gave me about a 50% ( not good enough for penetration) result....BUT...number 6 gave me a good 80-90% erection that gave my wife and me 20-25 minutes of lovemaking!!!As soon as my new drug plan kicks in I'll be using it again. By the way, I had no bad side effects from it.

At 7 months post RP tried a 6 pack.  $360 with no insurance coverage.  Varying results from about 50-80% lasting about an hour.  Still fighting with incontinence, and I think in some instances, the drug managed to leak before it had a chance to be effective.  No problem administering, and no significant side effects.  At 10 months have just moved to injections.
