Best way to dress to reduce leaks

A strange question perhaps does leaking relate to which way a penis is pointing/hanging?
When it comes to continence (especially drips and dribbles), does it make a difference how we pack our penises into our underwear? Normally guys here have just talked about boxers or briefs, and clearly boxers and pads don’t work, but how should we arrange things for the optimum result. When getting dressed, or after going to the bathroom does it make any difference how you fold/pack a penis in regard to anything leaking out. Should one bend it over to point towards the ground or point it up towards the sky, go left or right? Or does it make no difference, as the darned thing has a mind of its own and is likely to wriggle about to find its own equilibrium state regardless of what you do.
I ask as I have recently started wearing lady’s sanitary towels as “just-in-case” pads almost every day and if I don’t position things right my penis doesn’t stay on the pad rendering it pointless, but on the other hand if I get things all tight and snug (with little Alf pointing straight up or straight down), then I don’t seem to leak/dribble at all.
And I am still surprised that at night, when wearing boxers, I am dry, yet any attempt to let Alf out to run free during the day time results in dripping.
Any thoughts. (Not sure I can word a question right for a poll about this)

I doubt it matters since the leak starts at the bladder. Mr Pee Wee is just the tube where it travels to the underwear. Pointing to up to help with gravity is probably pointless...pardon the pun.

Steve, my thought was that it might matter, that even if some pee got out you might be able to keep it trapped inside the pipe if the pipe was bent the right way. I kind of thought that some slings worked by bending the pipe between the muscle in the bladder and the outside world.
(Just been getting my garden hose ready after the winter frosts and am always interesed how easy it is to stop the flow by bending the hose , while on the otherhand if I turn the tap/fawcett it often still results in a dribble from the end)
(Better watch out in cae Jeff wants to start doing experiments with pipes and tanks of water etc)

Course if the hose leaks all year long - that would indicate an issue with the tap/facet and not the hose. Cutting the hose off would allow you to let it drip directly into a pan/pad yeah

Alf: since nobody seems to know FOR SURE, sounds like you have the unique opportunity to enrich the world by doing a little personal research and reporting back to the unenlightened WORLD. personally, i thought briefs with a little (female) pad and little dude more or less vertical kept things more under control. but who's to say ??
maybe you can get one of those multi-million dollar (euro, whatever) grants to do a STUDY !!

I use plastic zip ties. And being a Harley rider, I get them in chrome. You can never have too much bling.

My only input on this subject, is to wear lots of black pants! lol. My wife is so tired of seeing me in black slacks. Even though I am not incontinent in the traditional sense, having an ostomy (urosotmy in my case), there is always a chance my "device" will fail and leak like niagra falls.

I had my first public failure a few weeks ago on a consulting gig, in an office of all women. Just like that, the device failed and broke loose. I was wearing black pants, but when I have failure, we are not talking about leaks, we are talking about major output, as my ureters go directly to the stoma.

I had to get up, and tell someone that I had to leave immediately for personal reasons. Fortunately, I was able to sit on my jacket on the ride home, as to not damage my car seat. So now I keep towels in my trunk.

Had I been wearing light coloured slacks, I would have died of embarassment, as by the time I left the office, I was pretty well soaked from the waist to the knees on both sides.

Also, wish I could go back to wearing briefs, but due to the stoma and the device, I am forced to wear boxers only, something I never wore before my days of PC began.

I believe I just detected a hint of tumescence. Did someone just make a call for experimental data?

I'm with fertree. I got my money's worth out of my daVinci surgery and had a lot of material removed. I no longer need to worry about left, right, up, or down. Now my only concern is "in or out". I wear briefs that are one size too small and augment with half a Poise Pad if I need to look professional. PPP (Perfect penis placement) is readily attained by putting the pad right in front of the business end. There is no movement; no wander; no roving response to external stimuli. Have I become the perfect husband? In retracted mode I am totally leak free. When I want to drain the little guy I have to shake it out first - a Red Solo cup helps with this process.

I am told my sling will last for 10 years It's hard to believe I've already gone through 1/8 of its life.
