I had mentioned this stamp a few months back.  In 1999, the U.S. Post Office issued a 33 cent postage stamp for

Prostate Cancer Awareness.  As an avid U.S. stamp collecter, ended up with 15 extra of the stamps.  These are still brand new, mint.  If you collect stamps, its Scott #3315.

I will give away free, to the first 15 PC brothers or sisters here at HW, one stamp per person.  Nice to look at, collect, or even put in a small frame.

I will even pay for the postage to mail them out.  If interested, I will send them to the first 15 takers, all you need to do is e-mail me your mailing address to my listed e-mail address here at HW.  No catch, no strings attached, just want to share this stamp of interest with others.  Good way to get out the message.  Your address will be deleted from my e-mail as soon as I mail you the stamp.  First come, first served!

I had actually considered ordering some custom made stamps with the blue ribbon, but never got around to doing it.

Thanks David, I would also like to have one to place into a frame. They are actually a very interesting stamp that also send a great message for supporting PC. I starting searching a few months back to see were I could obtain some but came up empty. Thanks you again I will send you my email and address information. tongue

yep, but they will be single copies, not full sheets as in the picture. its the only PC stamp the post office ever issued.

Sunday Update:

All PC stamps readied to mail, will take to Post Office first thing Monday morning. Managed to have 5 more. So if anyone else still wants one, all you have to do is e-mail me your name and address. Totally free of charge, including postage.

True to my word, for the ones prepared to send, your e-mails/addresses have been deleted from my computer for your privacy.

The Awareness Stamp arrived in great shape.  The stamps on the outside envelope were also very cool.

I am new to the sight. This will b my very first post.
My husband, Gary, has been fighting Stage 4 PC that
spread to the bladder since 10/09.. I will b posting his
pathology report and tx he has received later this evening.
I would love to have a stamp for him. I'm going to try to
figure out how to find your email, be patient with me and
please save one for him. Also my husband was 41 when our

All you have to do to find my e-mail address, is to click on my name "purgatory" where it is lit up in blue color. it will show you my address. soon as you can e-mail me, will send one or more to your husband right away.

sorry you need to be here, sounds like he has aleady had a rough journey, since it spread to his bladder as well, and him being so young
