Smaller penis after prostatectomy??

The formatting gets messed up when people

use cut and paste from programs that have a wide

document format. I have never found a way to fix it,

nor sorted out exactly what program(s) cause it.

hinickanick post surgery i am a little shorter than before ,use edex for erections last year my t was low and am treated for it now with edex and fortesta for low t i am close to as long as i was and circumfrance is bigger than before use it all you can it will help

It seems to be like all the other side affects. It either happens, or it doesn't.It's just not talked about like the other problems. When the VA doctor who was deciding how much disability I was entitled to looked at it he noted it as penis deformed which increased the compensation. I didn't even have to go into my rant about what a pain it is to pee all over yourself! I guess it's easier for a URO to tell a patient that he may have a temporary ED or leak problem than it is to say "Willy's gonna shrink and if that happens deal with it!"

to the waterguy dont know for sure but my uro is a wonderful lady and she said inject back tight to your body or it will be like swing a baseball bat

Update from me on finding a new partner.

After a couple of dinners out with a really nice lady, she has now invited me over to her place for dinner and I am guessing it won't just be dinner :-) Now comes the problem of being able to have normal sex....... I have not shared with her anything yet about my ED issues or my RP, although, I did let her know that I was very horny !!!!.

Any suggestions or stories on how to work into this ??? How long will trimix keep out of the refer ?? Do I prefill a syringe and hope to use it in a couple of hours ???

This is not easy, I am really out of my comfort zone...... ugggggggg

trimix, I would suggest taking a filled syringe, along with an alcohol swab. I'd crush some ice cubes, placing that into a small ziplock or other plastic bag, with this wrapped around the syringe, then wrap the whole thing in aluminium foil. That should keep it cold/cool for a few hours. Now as to how you are gonna find a way to inject, that's up to you. tongue Maybe if she offers the bathroom for a 'freshen up' or a quick shower? Otherwise, just wing it, and go to the bathroom before commencing, and do the deed. Unless you can guarantee a performance with trimix, then I'd probably warn her that you may not be 'up to standards' the first time. Be prepared for lots of attention and creative things for her in case it does fail this time. She could be told that it isn't necessary to have an erection to achieve a climax (hint, hint) That's a hard area to know when to discuss such private things. I am thinking about joining a "Swingers Club" to get some actual experience with injecting and having sex without putting a real relationship at risk, who knows they might think this is really cool !!!! :-)

The penis shrinks after RP and it is likely caused by cells signaling themselves to die following nerve injury. That is why it is not only shorter but also has less girth.:

This means that the penis undergoes permanent shrinkage over time although for many the flaccid penis will be small immediately after surgery because of the erectile tissue being contracted.

I've also noted that my penis may be looking smaller due to the bulge of my now soft abdomen sticking out; the flesh under my pubic hair also seems thicker and is also altering how things look.
So, maybe the incentive for me to lose those pounds is that it would make little Alf seem bigger.

Since I've been using he pump, I trim or shave the pubic region...  has the benefit of making my schmekle look bigger than it really is.

An update on my date last night.......

I was invited over to a nice ladies house for dinner last night. After a few glasses of wine and a nice meal, we ended up relaxing on her couch just talking about life and what it can throw at you.

This lead into her telling me that she was a breast cancer survivor and told me her story, this lead me into telling her about my cancer, RP and ED and I told her that if we were going to move this to the next level, it would be a big experiment on my behalf. She was very accepting and understanding, seemed like she was just as interested in having sex as I was :-)

about and hour before dinner, I took a 100mg Viagra hoping this is all I would need if the opportunity should arise. The evening continued with lots of talk and then she said the magic words, "lets see what we can do in bed" We went to bed and had some very passionate sex even with me not able to perform normally.

She was very understanding and she said don't worry about it !!! She seemed to be satisfied just being close and liked what we did even though I did not have any type of normal penetration.

I told her that next time I would fix that problem and I will come more prepared !!!

She was a great, understanding lady and this encounter was just what I needed to help me rebuild my male ego.

Next time, I will bring my trimix :-)

A big step forward for me, guys, hang in there, keep plugging away and hopefully you will also find an understanding lady like I just did.

Curt, your story is just great, and I am glad you found such a woman so quickly. Just goes to show that sometimes the good guys can be beaten down yet still come back and recover. Now that I have gotten past this first step, the next one should be easier and I am now looking forward to it. She wants to know now when I can come over again :-) !!!

Now that I have lost 14lbs of mostly belly fat, my penis definitely seems bigger. Maybe the whole penis shrinkage thing is about perspective? scool
