Hi everyone haven't been here in a while.  My husband had robotic surgery in 2008.  Happy to report PSA as of this past Friday is undetectable.  The question I have is this:

Has anyone ever had pressure from your rectum through the urethra to the tip of the penis after having an orgasm?  He has never had this before and is very uncomfortable.  Would just like to get some feedback before we call the Dr. tomorrow.

Not I, and I am not being a wise guy here. If the pressure is pleasurable it may be just one heck of a nut. by all means see the doc if it is worrisome

can't say I've noticed that exact sensation but there have been a few orgasms that weren't that much fun since my surgery. I wouldn't say painful, but definitely strange enough to ruin them. Perhaps only a handful, but prior to surgery I hadn't had any like that.

Is he taking ED pills? could it be that he took too big a dose maybe?

 Logoslidat wish it was pleasurable for him, if it was he'd probably try to duplicate it : ) 

Davidg he is taking ed pills but only took 1/2 a dose, definitely not too much.  He too has experienced strange ones before but nothing like this.  Have an email into his Doctor to see what he says.  I'm thinking he might have stretched his urethra too much and I'm hoping with resting overnight he feels better in the morning.

I've only had such a sensation once. That was when they implanted my Calypso markers for Adjuvant RT. They explained that it was caused by pressure in the area where my prostate had been against the urethra.

I would get the uro on the phone.

Thanks, already spoke with him he said it's very rare but can happen.  Urethra was probably extended longer than it's used to which caused the irritation.  He's feeling much better today.

I've had that exact descriptive feeling, but it was early on in the process and seldom occurs now. He just may be a slow 'adjuster' and takes longer for the remaining parts and pieces to adjust to their new location and reality. If in doubt, ask the doc.

He did also, we think it's because there was a long time since the last one. Guess I'll just have seduce him more frequently : )

Yes, frequency will have a lot to do with it. The longer between use can have more of a 'uncomfortable' feeling to it. The fun is you two get to decide what is too long...and keep it shorter than that devil
