Michael,

It's good to have the decision made. I know my decision led to another one, just when I though my decision was made. Should I have seed alone or combine them with IGRT. You are getting closer to having you procedure and putting this all behind you.

Interesting discussion of the value of post-surgery pathology report. My case, where I went from a G7 biopsy to a G9 after surgery, is likely just the exception. I'm very glad I found out I have G9, and my subsequent treatment plans have been very aggressive as a result of that knowledge.

Knowing that the cancer had not escaped the capsule gave me more confidence in responding quickly to the positive margin and fast PSA rise after surgery with whole-pelvic radiation. While my doctor only took out four lymph nodes (he thought I only had a G7), it was nice to know that none of those tested positive.

I prefer more information to make better decisions rather than the very limited data obtained from a biopsy.
