Leeanglo, I have an implant, got it 4 years after prostatectomy but have not had issues with mets as you have. I would check with your uro / implant surgeon regarding the lymph node involvement - the reservoir is typically located under the abdominal wall, and there is some flexibility about where to locate it, so they should be able to find a spot if the normal one is too close to lymph nodes. My implant surgery was performed by another uro in my prostatectomy surgeon's office (did a splendid job). It all depends on your uro's specialty as to whether they will perform the implant surgery.
Have you tried injections? I would try them before the implant, just because of the "permanence" of the choice (you will have excellent erections on demand, but you will never have spontaneous erections again). Based on my ED, I am not missing my former state. I just wish I had gotten the implant sooner. Aside from the recovery, which is several weeks, it is great to be able to have an erection for as long as I (or my wife) want.
There is a period of time after the surgery that the sensation in the penis is a bit diminished (at least for me it was), especially in certain sex positions. I am at 6 months, and am back to full sensation (it gradually returned over this time).
One consideration I had was that it is possible in the future that I will be in your situation, and if that happens, I want to still be able to please my wife in spite of low libido. The implant fully enables this, as I do not need to be aroused to have a strong erection. I have control over the strength of the erection, and can reach as strong (or more) as I have ever had in my life.
I would be happy to talk to you offline as well if you want me to provide more details.
All my best
Jeff
