For those of you who don't like to wait for your Dr. to call and give you bloodwork results, Labcorp has a website that you can get the results about the same time your Dr. does.  Here is the link to it.  Obviously your Dr. needs to send the bloodwork to Labcorp.

I noticed a couple of things recently with Labcorp.

- they went to a 3 decimal point to the right PSA test (xxx.xxx)
- new site to get results is great. Myers, however, tends to get back to me before they are a available on this site.

Doesn't QUEST Labs do the same thing?

Yes, Quest does it too. But the Doc has to sign off on you getting your own results. Not sure if Labcorp does that.

Labcorp doesn't require a Doc signing off, they send the results to the Doc and then post them to you supposedly in the same day, although Jerry said earlier that his Doc had a pretty good head start.

Quest had a form to fill out if you wanted the forms sent to you as well as the Dr. I went at 3:30 pm and they faxed the results to me at 1:00am.

My GP's office is "web enabled" with eclinicalweb.com .
I get the notice and data when he does.
I also get the full report separately by snail mail from the lab. It has all the info included: protocol, machine, operator etc. That is very helpful for comparison purposes.

Yes.  It's my report and they didn't hesitate.  Just tell them where you want it sent of faxed to.  Before, I would have the Dr. put his fax and mine on the order.  Never had a problem.

I am in Calif and have tried in the past to have my results faxed to me but was told that they only forwarded to the doc not the patient. Do you know what formI need to fill out? Thanks, Bob.

I don't know if they have a form number, but when I asked the receptionist about having it faxed to me, she leaned behind the counter and handed me the form. It took about 30 seconds to fill it out. Hope this helps.
