Drinks are on me!

I got my PSA results today from my urologist and nine months post surgery I'm still undetectable. PSA anxiety sure does take a toll though. When the nurse walked in the room she thought something was really wrong with me. I had to explain my PSA anxiety to her and then she understood why. When she gave me the good news I just about kissed her turn

Here's to hoping for only zeros for the rest of the January group!!

Congratulations! on your low score.
Just wondering what PSA test you are doing, traditional or
ultrasensitive?

Congratulations - undetectable is good for PSA.

BOOGEE, the PSA test they do on me is just the run of the mill one with a < .1 reading being undetectable. I asked my urologist about using the ultra sensitive test and he would do it for me but he told me to stick with the regular one. He's knows I get PSA anxiety and I think this is his way of combatting it :)

Your doctor is correct, as you say you have psa anxiety anyhow, so why worry your self over minute movements indicated in an ultra sensative test, seen too many guys here fretting over what really isn't bad news,

Glad you are still in the club, that is what is important. Life is too short to worry needlessly.

Thanks for this info. My 3 tests, post-DaVinci in June '12, were .02 or .04. My urologist said that these should be considered zero. I wasn't aware of any other more sensitive PSA tests.

A big thank you to my extended family here at healingwell!!

And David, you are so right. For the last nine months I have been worrying over stuff that isn't really important. From getting dumped by a girl I had been seeing for three years just as i was getting ready for surgery and to worrying needlessly over what my PSA will be when it's checked. I think it's finally time to start living again!

Gave blood today get results next Tuesday i thought i was getting used at this.
It will be 3 year on April 15 but still get stressed out my urologist test is on Jan 21
But i'm getting so stressed i could not wait so i went to my local GP & asked for a
PSA test & cholesterol test. I did this last time & both came back same result so
fingers crossed.Good luck to all the other guys.

I gave blood today and will be having my 2 year appointment next week. I sure won't miss these quarterly blood tests.
