Chrissy,

I think many of us wonder what dying will be like, if our cancer eventually over takes us.

I could not imagine a better way to pass into eternity, than laying beside my life's mate, having her tell me about all the high points of our life together, and reassuring me of her love and devotion to me.

And then to pass quietly into the next phase of my life.

Thank you so much for making me fear what may come even less. May God bless you and your family and give you peace.

I can't say more, or more eloquently, than what others have said. Your husband was not lucky to get cancer, but he was a lucky man to have had the marriage you two had.

I hope you are surrrounded by love and support. You will be in my thoughts and prayers

Chrissy, I too am a newcomer to this forum. I am so sorry for your loss, and so touched by those on this forum that care, truly care for each and everyone on this forum. Each one of us, patients, and caregivers alike, travel this same journey in so many different ways. We each give strength when needed to all who ask with kind thoughts and a wealth of information here, and I want to thank each and everyone of you.

CC, I'm so sorry to hear this news. It is the human side of us that hates to see out loved one move on. We want to be with the always.

He was a fortunate man to have you by his side showering him with you love as he moved on to the next journey.

Allow me to add my condolences as well. Being new to the community, I don't know about your husband's journey. While I am saddened by your loss he is now in a much better place where he will never know the meaning of pain and suffering again.

What a beautiful post in the hardest of all times.

The last thing your husband said to you "I Love You." Possibly the last thing he heard from you "I Love You".

He is at peace and waiting for you. Now for you embrace life, live it the the fullest.

We are here and will always be here for you our dearest friend.
