I'm are thinking of moving to Mass. but feeling anxious about
leaving behind my two oncologists. Nothing rational, just the fear of making tactical mistakes.
If I were in the Boston area, who would I go to for Advanced Metstatic PCa?

We go to Dana Farber in Boston. We have only seen our doctor there twice but check back with us when you are ready - we could probably at least say yes or no!
Added to say: we have been going there for a few years and the doctor we were seeing left, thus our new doctor.
Typically, we get there one hour before the visit to get bloodwork. They have the results ready by the appointment.
Wait time? Usually there is but we have noticed with this second doctor it's better. With our first doctor he inevitably ran an hour behind. Course he only saw patients on Friday afternoon!
Le tme know if you have any questions.

Just a not. The list above is a "generally rated" list. Many of the top doctors are located at the various centers listed depending on the cancer type. The Harvard Radiation Center is one of the very best offering virtually every radiation option...But the best surgeon may be at another hospital...
Ask your oncologists...

You have many excellent choices here in Boston. And they are all among the top hospitals in the country...(and mind you I am referring to those that are "in Boston" not those just outside).
I am being treated at BIDMC, (Beth Israel) and they are/have been outstanding.
Also on the menu are Massachusetts General; Brigham and Women's/Dana Farber...ALL are part of Harvard Medical School family of hospitals.
There are others as well...
Understand you are reluctant to leave your present doctors but if you have to move 'somewhere', you certainly will land at the right place for top rated medical care.
