Misunderstood your question. I thought you were asking if I was stressed out by the process of getting checked out for prostate cancer up to the point where I received a positive biopsy result and was 'diagnosed'. I was. But that wasn't what you were asking.
I didn't habitually worry about
PC before my urologist started talking about
the possibility.
I spent several years either unemployed or underemployed in the decade leading up to my diagnosis. I suppose that could have contributed. PC responds to hormones and cortisol could easily have an effect. On the other hand there doesn't seem to be a lot of research and what research there is gives complicated results. (
