I wish you peace and freedom from pain as you walk these unknown roads, roads that we all have to travel on, some now and some later. That road is not easy and the path unknown, but we are all on it, and I hope the recognition that we are joining you will give you courage. You have been a leader in many ways and I thank you for making this forum a place of knowledge and openness.

Thanks to whom all reponded. I am "tryin on meds". OMG the pain is relentless. Almost feel silly spacing and evalluating--take 'em ALL!

I hope hospice can find the right combination of drugs to relieve you of your pain. I've always heard that hopsice excels at pain management, and I hope that turns out to be true for you. We're all with you in spirit. Thank you for the update. May the good Lord bless you and ease your suffering.

Sorry to hear this Craig, very sad.

I hope the hospice can manage your pain the way they did for my grandparents, and that you are surrounded by loved ones.

Craig -- I was so happy to see your post in response to the Purgatory "weight loss" string. I'd been thinking about you today and planning to post here, but wasn't sure if you were online much given everything else you're dealing with. I'm so glad you're feeling strong enough to still tap into the HW well!

And I know just what you mean when you talk about "gobs of...gob?" My mom had lung cancer, and I remember well how scary it was when that was happening.

I hope your hospice team can keep tinkering with the pain meds until you get the right combination. Know that many are thinking of you and hoping for the best for you

I have been thinking about you all day. I hope the hospice nurse has made progress in your pain management. My prayer for you this night is that you will be strengthened emotionally, spiritually and physically for the days ahead. That your pain be alleviated. That you and those around you will have comfort and peace. Thank you for allowing all of us here at HW to be with you in thought and support.
