Signature updated today thanks to my first PSA down to 0.98, free PSA is 0.22 so free PSA% = 22% and testosterone down to 24, since I began Hormone Therapy (Lupron only) 26 days ago on March 28,2013.

PSA at diagnosis in Jan 15, only 3.68 and bone bone mets, about 1% chance. PSA probably climbed some between Jan 15 and March 28 but not measured, and now hopefully on the way to <0.01.

Having been treated for low T in past several years, who would thunk I am now actively trying to lower it, exact opposite on what I had been doing. Have to wonder if Axiron and before that every other week injections played a role as 2 of my bone metastases are in ribs.

No sense dwelling on past, we are where we are and will hit it early and hit it with all we have.

Status and history, updated with Epstein's 2nd opinion on biopsy slides:
Age 55, Diagnosed 4/16/13
4/15/13 12 core biopsy, six on one side all G9, two at 5+4 (80%, 60%), four at 4+5 (100%, 100%, 80%, 10%), PNI confirmed
3T MRI (T1, T2, DWI with contrast agent) says bulging one side indicates extracapsular extension, suspicious both sides, neurovascular bundles involved, seminal vesicles have normal signal and no suspicious lymph nodes
T99 bone scan normal (2 suspicious spots, but confirmation x-rays showed no evidence of mets)

Here's my long 11 year history of screening:
