I had seeds implanted on 2/21, so now entering week 7.
I went skiing yesterday.
I will be umpiring a full baseball schedule this season.
I was out of work only two days.
I was a scorekeeper at the state wrestling tourney 3 days after the procedure. (With a padded seat.)
I'm having discomfort in elimination, liquid and solid. It's slower and more frequent. Occasional urgency with both but no accidents. Sexual stuff is uncertain, but promising. Modesty prohibits me from full disclosure, but I have a belief your use it or maybe you lose it. I mean, I know I will lose prostate function but I don't really much need it, I don't think.
Zero incontinence from day 1.
Some urgency in urinary and bowels. Much more frequent urges, but have been controllable until I can get to a toilet.
So I would never say that brachytherapy is the right thing for everyone, but there are 4 or 5 really well-proven treatments for PCa and there are two important organs involved: the prostate and the brain.
