Something Special For Bud's Family... Inclusion Cut Off 10AM 4/4/13

I wanted to extend what I said to you earlier. This is a very kind effort that I truly would take part in but I have a better way, at least for me.

I remember Bud coming here with his PSA over a thousand. It didn't take him long to understand where things were with his case. He knew it was serious and he knew he had challenges ahead. What I loved about him was his huge kind heart. He never relented to be here to greet new members, usually those whose cases were most like his own, and he shared love and hope to us all with great inspirational comments.

It's in his honor, and of those who have also fallen to this disease, that I offer the challenge to continue to do that work for others. That we can best honor these friends of ours by bringing what they brought here to our website to our communities in awareness, support, and grace.

Tony, well said - and if I may add to that - I would also ask that we all step back and remember these moments, when this 'family' has come together so strongly and supportive - not only for Bud and his family, and MrsGFM's Greg - but also for each other. Remember these moments as we move on, and continue to commit to helping and supporting one another.

Not trying to be mysterious or asking for anything, other than the use of member's name (username) for those who stood close to Bud, for something I am doing.

Can't say much more on here, as Bud's family does read this.

I'm in also. I agree about actions being the way to honor Bud but I'm equally motivated to do something for a family that is feeling a huge loss. I know it will comfort them to know how much their husband or dad meant to so many.

Info and JNF: Thank you for joining in this tribute to Bud. Ms. WW and I have exchanged emails and what she is planning is truly something special. You won't regret putting your names on this tribute.

To those out there who may be on the fence about this: I can assure you that this tribute is incredibly beautiful and very tasteful. We hope that more of you will add your names.

I think we're all on the same page on a particular aspect of all this, but just to make sure: those of us who now know what the form of the tribute is to be, MUMS THE WORD! Details NOT to be discussed online!

Let's do keep it a surprise, so that when Bud's family gets to see it for the first time, they may be able to appreciate it even more!

Tony, you said well. I know how much this forum helped me when I was DXed. The support and advice I received is the only thing that gave me strength and knowledge to move on. We will always remember Raddad (Bud).
