Hello CharlieB, I'm just about
8 weeks post op for an RP and I, like you, had no idea the extent of the post surgery trauma both mentally and physically.
My situation has been compounded by not having a local doctor lined up for follow-up care.
The incontinence advertised where I had surgery stated the following on their FAQ:

Q: When will I have complete urinary control?
A: Our most recent results show that 50 percent of men have full urinary control and do not need pads within 24 hours after catheter removal. The rest of our patients may take up to four weeks to get full urinary control. A few patients will leak urine during heavy physical activity. We will discuss our most up-to-date results with you at the time of your visit.
With conventional surgery, 50 percent of patients will have full urinary control within 3 to 6 months following surgery. Ninety-five percent will achieve this within one year. One of the advantages of robotic surgery is how quickly urinary control returns compared to conventional surgery.

Needless to say my expectations were high and people around me as well as here weren't sure why. Hopefully some of you understand now why I was so surprised. I'm still having continence issues. They're at 1 pad per day and usually associated with going from sitting to standing, shifting positions, brisk exercise, etc. I'm working to get that under control but it does mess with your head.
Hang in there and hopefully you'll see some improvement soon.
The ED issues were a total shocker to me. My doctor too said no sex for 6 weeks after surgery. I laughed at that as that wasn't possible. Pre-surgery I was 100% fine. Now, it's like it was switched off and I'm doing my rehab and trying to stay as optimistic as possible. Thankfully I still have my libido and a willing partner to keep trying with me.
