Yep....They pulled that trick on me too. I'm thinking, they'll do the ultrasound and have a look around, and if I'm lucky they won't see anything suspicious and I'll go home. This was before I knew anything at all about
how the PC journey actually progresses. The uro was there, but there was another guy there I'd never met before who was introduced as the "ultrasound technician". I was told they'll watch the screen and take a number of samples during the biopsy...that's when I knew I'd be having the biopsy done for sure. It didn't really bother me because I trusted them to know what they're doing and I wanted to know definitively if I had it or not. A couple of positive samples were found and the rest is history.
So yes, I'm thinking it's an act they have to go through to satisfy the insurance requirements.
