Had robotic removal on 4-17. Two of the incisions leaking a clear yellow fluid. Had it analyzed and it is not urine based, Dr said it is just body fluid and he is not concerned. Im wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how long it might have lasted. By the way, no pain since surgery, catheter out in 10 days, no control yet but working on that. One night in hospital, no pain meds since day 3. Walking several times every day. Insides still hurt if riding on rough road.

Hubby's incisions were closed with glue, and I think probably day 5? the one between the belly button one and the drain one - started leaking a mix of blood and clear.

Freaked us out a bit, and I called the on call doc (not from the practice) who said it'd probably be fine. - after asking if I seen any intestine coming out, but then said that would be rare. I almost hung up on him, he was an ass.

Uro/surgeon said it was perfectly fine, sometimes it just happens.
Hubby keeps a bandaid on it, just a spot of drainage showing still each day.

Hubby's been the same as you, although needs to walk more, still having a bit of issue getting more regular BMs. But he's a lot more like his normal self after getting his cath out last Thursday! ;) :)

BMs are fine, still taking powder laxative and stool softner to make it easier. They need to use a better glue! My leaks are constant streams, going through a lot of gause. Thanks for responding.

The day after my husband drain came out a 1 week the mail incision near the belly button started to leak. Surgeon checked it and wasn't ursine based. He said if it were urine he would feel really ill. It leaked for about a week and then just stopped.

He had two small leaking spots in that incision and they did flow quite a bit at first. I so wish the 'post-op sheet' covered more of these 'variables'!

He's using Milk of Mag when needed, and stool softners still. He's becoming much more active now, I think he just needed a bit of time mentally, not having had any surgery before. Plus, he had huge bruising covering his side, lower back, from the drain site - now fading thank God. But I think that helped make him think he needed to be more careful with his body...

Some leakage happened with my incisions as well. The doc said to keep them clean, and be sure NOT to scrub the areas at all. Just a pat with a clean washrag and soap. Then allow clean water to run over them, but not to direct any water directly against them.

If it continues or worsens, as always, call the doc again.

I went through a lot of boxes of gauze pads.

I think one of the things everyone wants to think is that DaVinci means "minimally invasive". It does in terms of size of incisions, but the havoc inside is just the same. My surgeon told me to expect the sutures to close in a few weeks, but that I needed to be careful for several months.

I had some oozing out from under the scab/tape of the one under the belly button. cleaned it out with hydrogen peroxide and bacitracin ointment. They looked at it, but could not decide if it was bad or good. Kept cleaning it, and eventually it ~healed, about 4 weeks after the operation.
