So sorry to hear about this complication. He must feel very uncertain and frightened, and so must you!  You both remain in my thoughts and prayers.  Rest when and where you can- he's going to need you.

Once again, an overwhelming Thank You to all.

He is stable, but still in ICU. They tried to rewire jaw but that didn't workout for him or the doctor. Surgeon needs better wiring than he could accomplish due to one of the breaks being in the socket and not plated.
They really don't won't to use anesthesia, and I'm really glad they don't.

Some time between now and the morning, they will work out a way to get him wired up again, with the least amount of pain involved.

Barring any other complications (none expected), he should be returned to regular room afterwards.

Oh, Mr WW has not lost his sense of humor. He said "Hey, I just as well go BIG, or go home!" :) He got the "BIG" behind him and now he's ready to go home.

Love that Perry has kept his sense of humor. Praying that all goes extremely well for the rest of the work to be done.

No go get some rest for yourself. I know that you work very well in crisis mode, but take care of yourself as well.

At the recent gathering Perry kept referring to you as "His Manager", he could not ask for a better one and that is for sure.

That's better news - not sure about going through getting that jaw wired though. Went through that with a girlfriend who got hit by a car in the crosswalk at college (not mine). Would not wish it on anyone.

Ms WW I have been on the road for the last week and not on HW, first thing I find is the news about Mr WW and his broken jaw. Dianne and mine will have you both in our prayers tonight. Mr WW is a fighter and will recover quickly.

It's time to get him home under "Managed" care.

And no more camping trips for awhile.

BTW>>> Have the Doctors have any clue what caused the fainting spell.

If you have already mentioned it, I must have missed it.

I too have been on the road and away from HW.....so sorry to hear the news MsWW but so glad things are on the upswing.  Hugs and prayers to you and the family and hope for a speedy recovery....chris

I am so sorry to read this, and so impressed by his phenomenal attitude and your strength. How lucky you are to have such a positive, fun and funny man; how lucky he is to have you! I hope some of that luck starts applying to his recovery

Thanks again!

Had surgery to rewire this morning. All went well.

Will get him some stilts so he can try out for the character, "Jaws," in a James Bond remake. :)

They are supposed to run CT and MRI scan today, to see if they can find the cause now that they've treated tthe side effects.

Lots going on at home that I am anxious to get back to start dealing with.

CT and MRI. Got it. Will worry about those so you can take a break and worry about other things. When you get the results let us know. We'll worry about those, too.

Good to hear the rewiring went well.

I rewired my house once and turned out very well so ...
sorry, not the same kind of wiring.

I'll go back to the shop now.

Gotta love that you guys can still keep your sense of humor about this stuff. But then again you know me and that is the only way I know to handle this crazy journey.

Tell Perry to heal fast and well. Don't want him to use this to opt out of going with us to NY.
