Just curious re: blood

I was curious if you think it bothered you or your wife/gf more when there was blood in ejaculate after biopsy. I was just thinking it wouldn't bother me as much because I was used to periods, but for a man...well, that's a different story.

..A bit graphic, yes. Our reality, yes. Ok, me and the wife did fool around 2 days later and it was night and in the dark (a good thing for this). We practice the pull out method for this and when I hit the lights to clean up it was a bit alarming. We kind of knew but not like that, just bright red blood. Anyways, every 2 days at night we continued from bright red to darker brown red until it cleared up after a week or so. You want to clean out the prostrate rest a day or two then clean it out.. Just my 2€. Now I have no prostrate and can only reminisce about our wonderful love life we had all those good years. This is all new to us and we still have fun, put our best foot forward but it is not the same. I have been robbed. So enjoy now..

Just another weirdness along the trail of PC.

I have to admit to flying solo for a couple of weeks after each biopsy until such time as I deemed I would no longer permanently stain the bedclothes and I could resume bothering my wife.

Lots of red blood in semen the day after biopsy, looked absolutely unbelievable, in a severed-artery sort of way. Lots of cleaning up required, both of bodies and bed.
Dirty oil sounds about right for the colour in the days after that, then there were just endless brown, and finally black bits, so my semen was not back to normal for abput 4 weeks. Strangely there was only blood in my pee once after the biopsy.

Mine was bright red. EnglishAlf's description is exactly what I experienced: "looked absolutely unbelievable, in a severed-artery sort of way". Lasted a week or two, with progressively less blood in the mix. After that, I occasionally found small brownish globules of dried blood in semen for another week or two.

Last time we had a thread on this topic someone described the color as apple butter, which pretty well described mine.

In answer to question, wife was more freaked than I was since it was leaving my body but entering hers, or not until it cleared:}
