Uhgggg...the pa just called and left a message for my husband to call her. Now I have to wait for him to get through to her and then call me back. I have NO IDEA!!!!! This last few minutes is more agonizing than the last 4 months has been! I'll let you know as soon as I know.

I know exactly what you mean!

I dislike phone calls very much.

My doctor always scheduled an in office appointment no matter what the outcome may have been.
The only other time I had a telephone call, was when my surgeon called himself to tell me my path report was great and would see me in next week.

I'm hoping you get the same result! It's nerve racking for sure.

That is frustrating.

Hang in there.

My doctor's office started a new practice in the last two years - doctor telephone appointments. Yup, with important test results they actually schedule a time for the doctor to call to make sure we connect. Less urgent results get emailed. Wish more doctors did that.

So, I'm waiting for my husband to call me back when he shows up at home (not horribly unusual). I'm thinking, 'Uh oh...bad news." No, he was in the area. The pa is with a patient and will call back so he's taking his lunch break and is now laying down to take a short nap. He is sooooo NOT like me! I could never take a nap while waiting to find out a path report!!!

The biopsy came back negative! He'll have another psa in months. Thank you all so much for you support and information; it has been so helpful! I hope I don't need to join this club, but if we do, I'll be back!

I checked your post several times today to see how it went.

It took 3 biopsies over 12 years for me to get the dreaded news.

I'm sorry for being so blunt in my post to you; It's just that you made my day and I was overly exurberant. It's rare to read really good news these days..I glad that you will be getting another test in a few months. With a biopsy, you guys are honorary members. Your hubby should be proud of you.
