I also tell everyone that will listen. At work I have no secrets and talk to people about PC, Over the last almost 3 years I have had various times off from work for scans etc so I really had to explain my time off. I have found no problems with being honest and people have been supportive. The issue of ED hasn't really been an issue.
My boss was very supportive, he, however is even more supportive now because he was recently diagnosed with PC and has had a radiacal postatectomy, I was able to give him some advice when he was first diagnosed 5 months ago. I am sure this gave him some support and he has appreciated more what I am going through.
Also he appreciates more my sometimes quick exits from a meeting for a toilet break. He also has to sometimes mirror my exit.
Where I work, in a male workforce of around 35 and various ages, there are now 4 people diagnosed with PC, 1 is on AS, 1 radical prostatectomy, 1 radiation and myself, the most advanced and on HT.
My advice is just be upfront and honest, some people will want more details, others just want an overview.
On the SEs the main thing are the hot flushes so I have my office temperature very cold, I get some comments about that. But most have got used to my office temperature now and it is not an issue.
At home I have a bit of an issue, my wife really feels the cold so in winter I am getting around at night in summer shortie pajamas while she has the open fire roaring away like a furnace.
