Logo - I get it.

My mother doesn't have long to live. Today she was discharged from hospital after her femur operation and having a port put in and made her way to the villa my sister rented in Tuscany. She feels healed today as you can see in this image my sister shot from behind.

I wish it were that simple. I've been told exactly that by ever medical professonal I have seen since my surgery and subsequent testing. Even my surgeon.

But I don't buy it... :)

Sometimes a metaphor or a simile goes straight to the point in a way that the literal does not. Your mileage may vary.

TimG Yes Kiergagaard devotees are rare and amazing that he would pop up here. I started reading I'm about 40 year ago, was so impressed, I named my first born after him. You don't just read you study him if you want a half a chance of understanding. I still find it difficult to understand the works, where he used a pseudonym, which were really meant to be a lead in to his "religious" works. But the religious works , I get totally, I think, which has changed my whole concept of life. I am the reader he always referred to, as are you….

F8 Love your irascibility, never lose it. Have you ever thought of taking pics of people, old people young people, happy people sad people sick people. you know da kine that you see sometimes in the old Life magazine and stuff. You have a talent, its just a matter of interest and whatever you have to do to to approach people to accomplice this. I'll say this, an irascible personality with a a heartfelt smile, would be hard to refuse, specially from the people types I envision. Regardless, your photos are a gift and you present them like presents under a tree.

It's not just PCa, if can be all the side affects associated with it including anxiety and depression. I embrace whatever they throw at me because I know what counts. In the next 8 hours my daughter leaning into my shoulder and sleeping through the flight. What's a little depression when I have that to counter it?

My illness is like a summer cold. Most days, its just a cold. Occasionally, I have trouble breathing. I hate colds!

F8, you old fox you. I had to look up moomagumpish and was only then, coupled with the slick one, did your response become unabstruse. Not sure I told you I lived in sjc from 66 -69. Sanjose state college, when they were rioting on campus and stuff. I was just out of the Navy so was a real love it or leave it type, till I met beautiful Blossom, smoked, dakine and put a flower in my hair. Got hired by FAA there, had to clean up and fly right. The rest is history. I remember all the orchards. Worked at a Mayfair market on Santa clara Ave. which was still in SJC. have a nice evening and or morning.
