After reading SubicSquid's comments, it occurred to me that many of us tend to blame follow-on problems on our surgery, when there may, in fact, be other causes. The same could be true for Yorkshire Lad.
In Squid's case, other causes could include sleep apnea. Apnea events lead to many wake-up's or shallow sleep during the night, which in turn leads to the feeling that maybe we need to get up and urinate. Since I started CPAP treatment 8 years ago, I rarely get up during the night. Other causes of frequent urination that might be investigated include, of course, diabetes, or perhaps a UTI.
Just something to think about.
