Alis,
First, let me say as the wife of a man wth PCa and mets, you have found a good place to come for answers to you questions and support from others, so welcome.
Small problem though, in that you don't tell enough about your husband's diagnosis and past treatment for utilise here to give you some suggestions.
Also, you have found a very old thread that has information that may not be the most current.
Let me try to help with your next post:
At the top of page there is "post a new topic".
Go there and give it a title. Like" I'm new and husband on xtandi."
After that, tell us everything you can. Like age, when dx, psa then and now, imaging results, medications prior to xtandi. Is he on Lupron too?
It is more likely his muscle loss and weakness is due to loss of testosterone. If he is less active appetite also goes down.
Keep posting. Don't let my questions scare you off.
Good luck!
Beth
