Hello Kitt and welcome back to this forum. We hope you will stick around and post with us...spouses and friends are always appreciated here.

I don't really have a bucket list as such but would like to walk my only daughter down the aisle one day, learn a second language, learn to play a musical instrument and live to 100 so I can make up bucket items every year and have time to get some of them done.

Great topic, David!

Like many, a lot of my bucket list items revolve around travel.

Travel to as many of the Presidential Libraries as possible

Travel to as many of the Major League ballparks as possible.  See my Red Sox win another World Series (this year?)

My wife has taken up genealogy so we'd like to travel to places that were important in our ancestors' journeys through life.  For example, the house my parents rented in Seattle during my dad's World War II assignment in Seattle, the Civil War battlefield where my wife's great grandfather fought, the homes in Ireland where my wife's ancestors lived...

Stay alive long enough to see how my grandchildren turn out...where they attend college, what careers they choose, who they marry...

Welcome to HW PC, and wanted you to know personally, that you are most welcome to post to my thread here, "Bucket List", or any other thread at HW PC. Your work as a mod at HW in other forums is greatly appreciated.

I liked all your items on your list, but your number #3 really caught my eye. All of my children are long ago adults. They are aged 30, 32, and 36. When they were little, I use to target them one at a time, and do something special just between dad and them. I think it would be appropriate for me to do that know as adults, to let them know that they are uniquely special. Some quality "dad" time so to speak.

So I am glad you brought that up on your list. I am going to think what I can still do with each of them, that would still make them feel special even as they get older.

I hope you are doing well, and please, feel free to post here anytime you wish.

thanks, it is amazing how much travel is on all of our lists. seems to be a common theme.

and you meant, "our" red soxs, I hope, lol. I have been a steady fan since 1968, longer than the 43 years if have been a Patriots fan. But we can share, they are sure looking good this season.
