Butlerguy,
Congratulations! In my uneducated opinion, you are doing it right the first time so don't ever look back.
The imrt radiation will cover areas that surgery can't reach to include seeds if it's outside the capsule.
My technician told me that they do the SV's also to be on the safe side so hopefully your facility will do the same. I don't see any reason with your low gleason and pathology for you to be on hormones so you might ask your dr if you can continue having intimate relations with your spouse or other loved one.
If she's over childbearing age I personally don't see why not; again, this is a question to ask your doctor.
Redwing covered most of the important points like DRINK plenty of fluids..Another point not normally covered is to not have a colonoscopy for at least a year after radiatiion. The reason being is that gas is injected and can break
open unknown radiation protisis and your existence will be miserable...Didn't want to scare you, but you will do fine!!
