Thanks for the kind thoughts, everyone! When I first arrived at HW, it was to share the bad news of my impending diagnosis - so it is amazing to be able to relay this kind of good news, only 7 short months later...
I'm in the midst of a business trip that has taken me to the other side of the country for a couple of weeks. The family has tagged along and are enjoying themselves - and I'm enjoying getting to work face to face with some colleagues and good friends. When I first envisioned this trip a few months back, I was concerned that I'd be dealing with some incontinence, discomfort, etc (I'm 3 1/2 months post-surgery) - but I'm happy to report that none of those things are an issue.
