I had my first biopsy two weeks ago. I felt completely normal after 24 hours. Doctor said no heavy lifting for at least 48 hours. Like you, I expected to have a sore butt. That was not the case.
There was blood in my first bowel movement, but that quickly went away.
There was blood in my urine for a few days and then it lessened to some pink when first urinating, now it's normal.
The first semen was quite bloody, it shocked me and my wife. After two weeks there is still dark blood, they say that will last for another month or so, we'll see.
Overall the biopsy was much less painful and easier to recover from than I expected. It really wasn't that bad.
During the biopsy the doctor asked me to lay on my side. Inserting the instrument and moving it around was uncomfortable but not painful. When the sample is taken, you'll hear a click. I expected it to feel like a needle. It was much less painful that a needle, it was not that bad, more like a pinch. The whole procedure took about
15 minutes.
Good Luck.
