Viagra/Generic V Questions

Hey friends:
My guy is one year post RP and still experiencing ED. I know that is not uncommon so I'm not worried about that. I want to make sure we are giving him the best opportunity for near normal love making.
We currently use the VED successfully. He gets about half mast during foreplay, but we've seen no difference with or without generic Viagra. He is hesitant to take a full 100 mgs, but has done so with no real difference. The half mast doesn't last long enough nor is it hard enough for intercourse.
My questions:
1) The generic V we got from an online source from India. I won't post the name of the company since I'm thinking it's not allowed, but the name starts with an A (hint). I've heard the company is reputable, but I've also heard there is no real generic V and the pill could be dangerous. Thoughts?
2) Can he take the pill and have a small meal afterwards instead of starving? If so, how long after? I wonder if his stomach is really empty when taking it a couple hours after dinner.

I get viagra from india and have gotten them from different indian companies. They have always worked for me, in the sense that I get a response. Sometimes a great response, some times not so much. The pills are real, they are not placebos. Again this has been my experience. There is a solid chance you could get placebo or something that might be dangerous. There are legit, not in the USA, but legit in that they work and are professional in the business exchange. The age of your boyfriend would dictate recovery of the nerves involved. I am assuming he had at least one of the 2 nerve bundles spared. I am 70, was virile before pca, had 1 nerve spared and took 2 1/2 years for stuffability and only with cialis/viagra all from India. Hope this helps. ps they were all from india but "prescribed" from Canada. I will not give name.

As a moderator I can't speak to most of that sentence but the part about "there is no generic V" is worth a bit of clarification.

So there is no generic Viagra and, at the same time, there is a generic, too. It might be worth talking to your doctor about Revatio. A number of members have gotten letters from their insurance companies suggesting that they change to Sildenafil because it is suddenly cheaper than other ED drugs.

I'm taking generic sildenafil (20mg) and the manufacturer is Greenstone. I don't get it from India but from my local pharmacy. I was taking Levitra but when it jumped in price, the pharmacist suggested the generic sildenafil as an alternative. As Peter DisAbelard said, one has to take 5 of the low dosage generic to equal one Viagra but it's so much cheaper.

I was cutting the 20mg Levitra into four pieces and taking one piece per day for rehab purposes (to improve blood flow down there). I never got an erection from the 20mg Levitra anyway. Now I take just one 20mg sildenafil nightly for the same reason. I get my rises from injecting trimix (it really works!).

Why is he hesitant to take the full 100mg? Is he getting unpleasant side effects? Some guys get headaches, stuff nose, vision changes. I get a slight headache and a stuff nose with these ED meds.

If he's getting that then what you're describing sounds more like he isn't responding the Viagra and the source isn't likely the problem.

There is now a generic version of Viagra, sildenafil. My Uro just switched me from Levitra 10mg to 60 mg of sildenafil (three 20mg tabs). I've only been taking one of the sildenafil and been finding that gives good results with less of the SEs as I get with levitra.

The sildenafil is less expensive than the Levitra which is why my insurance company and Uro made the change. I got 60 20mg tabs of sildenafil for a lot less then I paid for the Levitra (and now my insurance partly covers the sildenafil so I got an even better discount).

Andrew: He is into health foods/organic so is hesitant about any chemical. He has no side effects, but did not when he took prescribed Viagra either, so that's not an indicator for us. Cialis gave him severe muscle aches. We're still hoping because all nerves were spared by an excellent physician. He only had some incontinence for the first month so he has done really well.

This forum never fails to provide me with useful information. I sort of tripped our this thread and it provided me with info on the generic 20mg Sildenafil. That's very useful and immediately so. The great thing is that it can introduce you to info and possible solutions to questions you haven't even thought of yet. I never fail to become slightly more educated.
