I've heard the company is reputable, but I've also heard there is no real generic V and the pill could be dangerous. Thoughts?
As a moderator I can't speak to most of that sentence but the part about
"
there is no generic V" is worth a bit of clarification.
Wikipedia, on Sildenafil, said...
It was originally believed that Pfizer's patents would expire in the United States in March 2012,[61][65] but an August 2011 federal district court case raises the prospect that at least one of Pfizer's patents will be valid until 2019.[66] However, the patent expired in late 2012 on the lower dosage form sold as Revatio (indicated for PAH rather than erectile dysfunction.) Generic versions are available from a number of generic manufacturers including Greenstone, Mylan and Watson, since early 2013.[67] There is no legal barrier to doctors prescribing this form of sildenafil "off label" for ED, although the dosage typically required for treating ED requires patients to take multiple pills.
So there is no generic Viagra and, at the same time, there
is a generic, too. It might be worth talking to your doctor about
Revatio. A number of members have gotten letters from their insurance companies suggesting that they change to Sildenafil because it is suddenly cheaper than other ED drugs.
