Don't you hate it when you get blindsided by an attack you didn't see coming, had no idea was in the offing? It's sort of like that despicable new knockout game, where an inexcusable coward comes up to a total stranger and delivers a deadly punch. And the problem with those red flag words (some words removed, since they were removed from the original posts - 142) is that they echo in your head, even when you know they have no merit.
A blog is different than a forum post. Your blog has allowed you, and by extension, us, to explore a more detailed view of prostate cancer and it's treatments and personal toll. I've enjoyed reading your blog, but would find it inappropriate if you had used this forum to post such personal ramblings.
So you took the easy way and instead of duplicating information, directed people to your blog Wise move. You could have issued a brief blurb on the forum but that wouldn't have come close to allowing you to express your thoughts on your latest treatment. And by linking your views to a personal blog with photos of those involved in your life, who will hopefully not allow distortions and exaggerations to stand, we know that what you are saying actually happened and can be used as a truthful synopsis of dealing with prostate cancer.
The ads? Pfffff! It doesn't seem you are getting rich off the backs of us poor souls who are forced to read your blog to garner information.
Hope your headache didn't get worse.
And you don't need to justify your actions. We would all benefit if nobody treated an
open forum as their own personal blog.
