January Tests-- Post Here

I just got my results from Hopkins- undetectable for the 3rd year. Thanks to all of you for ur support.

I will be getting tested for my annual physical at the end of this month. The test will include an ultra sensitive PSA. Hoping for a good result at the 5 year mark.

Original baseline PSA ........... 83.09

PSA after 3-weeks ............... 64.78

PSA after 6-weeks ............... 43.01

PSA after 9-weeks ............... 25.19

PSA after 12-weeks ............. 23.92

PSA after 15-weeks ............. 18.20

Creatine level 1/14/2014 ...... 1.70

June - 2012 was hospitalized with kidney failure - blockage of cancer!

Everyone here (or a lot of you) show your PSA's being 0.0x , I just recently received my latest PSA and the nurse said it was zero, but when she sent me the results it said <0.1

I know that's good, but how about a <0.01

Question: What's the diff in testing?

Got my results a few days ago. PSA still undetectable and other markers look good.

Just got mine, still good to go. Just two months more and will be at my two-years of remission.
Then, just three more years to the five year point, etc., etc. One day at a time -- should say, one PSA test at a time, I guess.

not sure if anyone answered your question. You have to get the more sensitive test to get the.0x numbers. At our doc office, they tag the specimen as "post prostatectomy" to make sure that test is done.

Though some argue that just getting results as <.1 is all you need to know. Guess it depends on how much you want to know, what your stress tolerance is, etc.
