Casodex Dose

It seems the standard dose for Casodex is 50mg/day..Is anyone taking a different dose?

If they're doing Casodex as a monotherapy, I've heard of 150 mg/day. I think that's more common in Europe. It doesn't seem I've heard anyone here in the US doing that. My dose is 50mg/day in addition to my Lupron for ADT2.

Interesting to note our prostate history is somewhat similar. Diag. 2011 with Gleason 9. No nodes. Robotic surgery with zero psa post op. Psa 0.12 5 months post op so began IMRT for 2 months and then ADT for one year. Zero psa from 11/2012 until 1/2014 when psa recurred at 0.33. Oncologist did not want to wait any longer so with a psa of 0.33 we began Degarelix again. I am wondering if we should have waited for the psa to increase more in order to measure psadt or should we add Casodex to the ADT. I am also on Avodart. It has been suggested that I have my DHT tested since my T is 24. I am worried that I may have developed CRPC. Pmikey
