I am planning on attending the GFMPH Florida in March and I have been working on a playlist for my IPOD. I am driving up from So. Florida and thought it was time to make a PC inspired playlist to listen to on the drive.
I could use some suggestions from everyone. Songs about
death, living, fighting or anything else meaningful to us. We have discussed this here before but I couldn't find much using the search tool. Songs we like that say a lot about
what we are going through. It can just be a phrase we like or the entire message in the song. Yes, I already have "Live Like You are Dying" by Tim McGraw.
Here is some of what I have so far:
All I Need is a Miracle - Mike and the Mechanics
Beat It - Michael Jackson
Angels Among Us and Give Me One More Shot - Alabama
Ain't Wasting Time No More - The Allman Brothers
Calling All Angels - Train
Getting Better
Help
In My Life
When I'm 64
With a Little Help From My Friends - all by The Beatles
Good Times Bad Times and Stairway to Heaven - Led Zepplin
If Today Was Your Last Day - Nickelback
If I Die Young - The Band Perry
If Tomorrow Never Comes - Garth Brooks
Live and Let Die And Here Today - Paul McCartney
Live Like We're Dying - Kris Allen
My Way & You Gave Me A Mountain - Elvis
Survivor - Destiny's Child
Stand By Me - John Lennon Version
Threaten Me With Heaven and These Days - Vince Gill
Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton
The Waiting (Is the hardest part) - Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (I think of this song everytime I
get ready for another PSA test)
Woke up With Wood (Needs no explaination) - ZZ Top
And because he died of PC a few years ago, I had to add in some Dan Fogelberg songs:
"Same Old Lang Syne" and "Missing You" "Sometimes a Song"
Thanks in advance for your help.
