Just received my 2yr 4-month PSA and Urine test results back, all remains undetectable and clean! My Urologist has now put me on yearly testing for life. He likes to stay in touch with all of his patients and followup personally with open communication.
I've got to say the pre-testing and waiting for the results still produces anxiety all around, not only for me but also my wife and family. Something this journey has really taught me though is not to sweat the small stuff, life is too short. We lost my father-in-law this past October, although he was was in great shape and 77 years old, a heart attack took him from us. You never know when the time will come to say gooddbye to someone you love. Several of our friends also lost parents this past year and it reminds you we are not immune or invincible but just need to enjoy the time we all have on this earth.
A first I have always wanted to try is coming up this weekend, my wife gave me my first flight lesson for my birthday. This is something I have always wanted to experience and just never got around to trying it out, until now. As long as the weather cooperates I will be behind the controls this weekend, taking off and flying high! Flying is something I always wanted to try since I was young. One of my hobbies is building and flying remote control model airplanes, which has now turned into flying model helicopters.
